Audrey Sue (Freeman) Scott

Audrey Sue Freeman Scott, 65, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital following a period of declining health. She was born June 8, 1955, in Thomasville, NC, a daughter of the late Ray Lee Freeman and Lourita Kimsey Freeman. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Katherine Bullard.

Audrey graduated from Richmond Technical College (now RCC) with a degree in nursing. She retired from the NC Dept. of Public Safety where she had served as a Corrections Officer.

She is survived by one daughter, Stephanie Quick and husband, David, of Rockingham; two grandchildren, Courtney and Joshua Quick; and two brothers, David Freeman (Sherry) of Hickory and William “Bill” Freeman (Shirley) of Siler City.

A family memorial service will be conducted at a later date to be announced. The daughter, Stephanie, will be at her home at 301 Boxhill Place, Rockingham.
