Belinda Kay Smith

 Belinda Kay Smith, 56 of Ellerbe, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital. Belinda was born September 14, 1961 in Richmond County. She was a teacher’s assistant at Mineral Springs Elementary School.

Surviving are, her husband,  Bobby Smith; son Travis Smith and girl friend Kayla Devaney; daughter, Sabrina Shelley and husband Eddie; parents, Violet and Ray Baker; daughter-in-law, Amanda Smith;

Grandchildren, Isaiah and Samuel Smith; brothers, Steve Bryant and Allen Bryant and  wife Julie ; nephews and nieces, Mercedes and James Peregrine, Damon and Tess Bryant, Timothy and Emily Braddock and Ellie Puckett; aunt Faye Reynolds; and special family, TK Khampanya and fiancee Desirae Ball.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday and Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe, with Rev. Jason Lutz officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:45 – 1:45  prior to the service at the funeral home.
