Betty Hall Webb, 77, passed away Tuesday morning, July 28, 2020, at Richmond Pines Health & Rehab Center in Hamlet following a period of declining health.  She was born in Richmond County on March 31, 1943, a daughter of the late Charles Gillis Hall and Nellie Simmons Hall.  She was the widow of the late Harold Wayne Webb who died on December 3, 2009, and they had been married for 43 years at the time of his passing. 

Her working years were in the textile industry. But as long as her health permitted, she enjoyed working in her yard and growing flowers and vegetables. She also enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family. She was a member of West Rockingham United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her two sons, Kenneth Webb (Mellie) of Ellerbe and Andy Webb (Tonya) of Rockingham; her six grandchildren and one sister, Kay Price (Buster) of Winnsboro, SC. In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Linda Bowman and Patsy Cameron.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 AM Friday, July 31, at Ellerbe Cemetery where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband. Rev. Eddie Hildreth will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Richmond County Hospice, 1119 N. US Hwy. 1, Rockingham, NC 28379.
