Bobby Malcolm Wiggins

Bobby Malcolm Wiggins, 91, of Rockingham, completed his earthly journey on Thursday, February 23, 2023. Mr. Wiggins was born November 23, 1931 in Rock Hill, SC, a son of the late Wilbur Waylon and Della Dorsett Wiggins. He was a longtime member of the Rockingham Church of God of Prophecy. He worked at JP Stevens, was a General Contractor and he retired from Clark Equipment Co. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Eva Dell Wiggins and second wife, Dorothy “Dot” Watts Wiggins, son, Keith Wiggins, brother, Allison Wiggins and sisters, Judith Fann and Myrae Holden. He was a caring and compassionate man who had the most gentle heart. He loved his family and friends wholeheartedly. He will be truly missed by many. Surviving are his children, Philip Wiggins (Darcey) and Eddie Wiggins (Marianne): stepchildren, Kay Varner (Brent) and Elton Roller (Kathy); fourteen grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at the Rockingham Church of God of Prophecy with Pastor Steve Gilmer and Pastor Fred Fisher officiating. Entombment will follow in the Richmond County Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will greet friends from 11:45 – 12:45 pm Wednesday at the church and at other times at the home. Memorials may be made to the Rockingham Church of God of Prophecy, 139 Flowers St. Rockingham, NC 28379.
