Brenda Poston Beach

Brenda Joyce Poston Beach,  73, of Rockingham, passed away  on January 9, 2018 at Hospice Haven surrounded by her family.  She was born on November 30, 1944 in Richmond County a daughter of  the late Pulion and Rosa Mae Floyd Poston. She was owner of Brenda’s Beach Bingo before retiring. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Ray Beach.

She is survived by her daughter, Jody Dobbins Harris(Bruce Hamlin) “Oscar”, her son, Zachary Bryan Beach(Christina) “Lil Bit”; grandchildren Bryanna Joyce Beach, Ryan Patrick Hamlin, Bryttney Michelle Beach, Zachary Bryson Beach;  siblings Carolyn Rider Davis, Arthur Glen Poston(Pam), Shirley Ann Mills(Larrie McLester), Carl Douglas Poston(Wanda), Juanita “Tootie” Diggs(Luke), Lonnie Wayne Poston, Sr.; and a host of nieces and nephews. 

There will be a Memorial Potluck meal on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Maple Street Freewill Baptist Church fellowship hall with Reverend Darwin Cook officiating. 

The family will greet friends following the potluck meal and other times at the home.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Hospice Haven, 1119 N US HWY 1, Rockingham, NC 28379.
