Cynthia Webb Campbell

Cynthia Webb Campbell, 82, of Rockingham, passed away Tuesday, December 19,2023 at Hospice Haven in Rockingham.

Mrs. Campbell was born November 17, 1941 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Reid William and Beulah Howell Webb. She was a graduate of Rockingham High School, a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, and a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by “the best husband in the world” William Thomas Campbell, and siblings, Larry Webb, Faye Dawkins and Doris Goodwin.

She is survived by her children, Tommy Campbell (Tammy), Bryon Campbell, and Roger Campbell; grandchildren, Ashley Sullivan, and Matthew Campbell; four great grandchildren and sister, Carol Fugate.

 Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Friday, December 29, 2023 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Butch Park officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
