David Malcolm Baucom, II

David Malcolm Baucom, II, 58, of Rockingham, passed away Friday, February 16, 2024. 

David was born December 18, 1965 in Richmond County, a son of the late David Malcolm Baucom and Arlene Fox Rasberry. He had worked with Oakwood Homes, loved fishing, hunting, riding his dirt bike, racing RC cars and his dogs. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Shawn Baucom.

Surviving are his children, Miranda Baucom, Cameron Baucom and Lauren Watson (Josh); grandchildren, Ayden Watson, Braelyn Nettles, Ana Baucom, Emmaline Baucom, Mylann Baucom, Alexis Baucom, Olivia Baucom, Connor O’Neal, Jude Watson, Finley Watson, Houston Watson and soon to be baby Crue and his sister, Kristina Baucom.

A service celebrating David’s life will be at 6:00 pm Friday, February 23, 2024 at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham with Elder David Hogan officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
