Dora Lee Flowers Bowman, 76, of Rockingham passed away on Friday May 14, 2021 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Dora was born on November 16, 1944 in Marlboro County, SC a daughter of the late Judson and Annie Bell Norton Flowers. She was retired from Human Resources with Lowes Home Improvement. She loved working in her flowers, cooking and going to the beach.She loved her children, grand children and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Edward Bowman, Sr.

Surviving are; Michael Lee Bowman, Genine Bowman Gibson(Bobby), Ernest Bowman, Jr., Howard Lee Bowman, Barbara Bowman Honeycutt; brother, Judson “Buddy”  Flowers; sister Rebecca Walker; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12:30 – 2:30 at Carter Funeral in Rockingham with graveside service at Eastside Cemetery at 3:00 pm.

The family will also receive friends at the home at other times.
