Ethel Rainwater Campbell

Ethel R. Campbell, 84, of Rockingham, NC passed away on May 21, 2018 at home. She was born on March 25, 1934 in Marlboro County, SC a daughter of the late John Rainwater and Callie Sweatt Rainwater. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings; her husband, Walter Andrew (Jack) Campbell, Jr., her sons, James Gary Campbell and Edward Derrick (Ed) Campbell.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Kim Campbell; her grandchildren, Sam Campbell, Nikki Campbell, Shelly Campbell, Heather Campbell and eight great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon on Friday, May 25, 2018 at the Church of God of Prophecy of Rockingham, with Pastor Steve Gilmer Officiating. Burial will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 10:45 – 11:45 am at the church and other times at the home.
