Irene Hunsucker Robinson

Irene Hunsucker Robinson, 89, of Ellerbe died Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Trinity Place in Albemarle.

Born in Richmond County on October 19, 1931, she was the daughter of David Carson and Nanny Lockhart Hunsucker and the widow of William Martin Robinson, who died September 23, 2011. She attended Jones Springs United Methodist Church and was a bookkeeper with Dewitt Trucking for 33 years. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brothers, Adam Lee Hunsucker and Tarence Eugene Hunsucker.

Surviving are her nieces, Carla Yarbrough (Grey), Amy Kesler (Mike), Linda Brown and Linda Kennedy (David), several grand nieces and nephews, as well as special friends and caregivers, Danny and Shirley Bowers.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 am Friday at Candor Cemetery with Rev. Bob Carpenter officiating.
