J. Ralph McIntyre

James Ralph McIntyre, 80, of Rockingham, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital – Richmond Campus in Rockingham.

Mr. McIntyre was born December 29, 1941 in Forsyth County, a son of the late Henry Lee and Roberta Poe McIntyre. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Claude and Harvey McIntyre and sister, Jane Kearns.

Surviving are his siblings, Robbie Gibson, Sara Atkins, Edith Atkins, Frank McIntyre and Van McIntyre, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 pm Sunday, June 5, 2022 in the chapel of Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe with Rev. Jack Lee officiating. Interment will follow in Norman Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:45 -2:45 pm prior to the service and at other times at the Gibson Home.
