Joyce Cox Brown

Joyce Cox Brown, 78, of Rockingham, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Hospice Haven in Rockingham.

Mrs. Brown was born December 14, 1939 in Anson County, a daughter of the late Noah and Addie Mae Vaughn Cox. She was a member of Community Church and had been employed with L’Eggs Hanes Bali, Clark Equipment and UCO Fabrics. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Brown.

Surviving are her children, Jeff Brown (Lisa) of Concord, Rev. Phillip Brown (Lisa) of Midlothian, VA; grandchildren, Weston Brown, Alaina Brown, Lissa Brown and Brandon Brown and half sister, Ruby Vaughn of Wadesboro.

Funeral services will be at 11 am Wednesday at Community Church with Rev. Chris Young and Rev. Phillip Brown officiating. 

The family will greet friends from 9:45 – 10:45 am Wednesday at the church.
