Kathy Hough Saunders

Kathy Hough Saunders, 67, of Morven, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at her home.

Mrs. Saunders was born December 20, 1950 in Montgomery County, NC, a daughter of the late Albert Davis and Peggy Marie Bowman Hough. She had been employed as a babysitter and caregiver for the elderly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Saunders and a brother, Larry Hough.

Surviving are her children, Cynthia Mabe Diggs of Morven, Tonya Mabe Martin of Morven and Johnny Ray Mabe of Ellerbe; grandchildren, Malorie Martin Sellers (Collin), Christopher Shane Mabe, Zachary Austin Mabe and Savanna Marie Diggs; brothers, Joe D. Hough (Dianne) of Ellerbe, Robert Hough of Ellerbe and Albert Hough, Jr. (Connie) of Sanford; sister, Sona Harrison (Mark) of Ohio and her canine companion, Tinkerbell. 

Graveside services will be at 11 am Saturday at Norman Cemetery with Rev. Kevin Thompson officiating. The family will see friends following the service at the graveside.
