Larry Herbert Clark

Larry Herbert Clark, 79, of Ellerbe , passed away Friday, April 27, 2018 at his home.

Mr. Clark was born July 22, 1938 in Richmond County, a son of the late B.A. and Ethel Freeman Clark. He was a member of Ellerbe First Presbyterian Church. He had retired from Nat Black Logging and following retirement worked at the Richmond County Box Site on Bennett Road in Ellerbe.

Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Virgie Smith Clark of the home; children, Sandra Hudson of Ellerbe and Tim Clark (Lori) of Rockingham; grandchildren, Lauren Clark, Alex Clark, Kristin King, Diedre Hudson, and Joshua Hudson; great grandchildren, Damien, Tyler and Alexis King, Desmon, Brooklynn, Bella, Natalie and Colin Hudson and a sister, Hilda Murphy of Murrells Inlet, SC.

Funeral services will be at 3 pm Sunday at Ellerbe First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Stan Layton and Rev. David Lee officiating. Interment will follow in Ellerbe Cemetery.

The family will see friends from 6 – 8 pm Saturday at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe and at other times at the home.
