Lawrence Edward Brigman

Lawrence Edward Brigman, 72, of Wallace, South Carolina, completed his earthly journey on Friday, February 7, 2025.

Mr. Brigman was born January 17, 1953 in Richmond County, North Carolina, a son of the late William, Jr. and Jannie Sue Lynch Brigman. He attended True Gospel Emmanuel Holiness Church and had retired from the South Carolina Department of Transportation. He enjoyed collecting model cars, coins and guns. He enjoyed flea markets and yard sales, giving things to people and was a bit of a horse trader. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Scottie Brigman, sister, Vickie Fuller and nephew Allen Wayne Poston. 

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joyce Carolyn McGee Brigman; children, Edward Brigman (Leslie) and Tammie Smith (Hal), and grandchildren, Kayla Brigman, Destiny Brigman and Austin Smith. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Mark Fuller (Nisha), Crystal Cline, Kristie Cook (Jamie), Anthony Smith (Candice), and Nathan Smith.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 from 6:00 -8:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and at other times at the home. 

 Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at True Gospel Emmanuel Holiness Church, 2539 Grant Mill Rd, Wallace, SC with Pastors James Croke and Anthony Dial officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
