Lillian Bruce Terry

Lillian T. Terry passed with peace and grace on December, 13, 2019, at Hospice Haven in Rockingham, NC.

Preceded in death in 1994 by her loving and devoted husband, James W. Terry, Lillian is survived by Jim Terry (Sandy) of Greenville, SC and Kathy Mann (Bill) of Cary, NC; Grandchildren: Ashley Henderson, Jay Terry (Jamie), Meredith Cox (Travis), Melissa Booth (Bryan) and Bryan Mann (Madison); Great Grandchildren: Charlie and Molly Henderson, Ellis and Millie Terry, Asher and Callen Cox, and Deacon Booth.

Lillian dedicated 33 years as Senior Clerk at CP&L, now Duke Energy. She remained in close contact with fellow workers and coordinated retirement functions for which she greatly enjoyed. Lillian was also a devoted member of Roberdell United Methodist Church and served as Finance Chairman for several years, and was a member of the choir and the Women’s Bible Study.

She leaves us all rich in memories.

Following a private burial, a service and life celebration will be held at Roberdell United Methodist Church, 1302 Roberdell Rd, Rockingham, NC at 2:00 PM Monday, December 16. Following the service, a reception will be held in the Fellowship Hall for family and friends.
