Lillie Mae Kelley

Kelley, Lillie Mae. Age 79 currently of Lincoln Park, Michigan was born October 11, 1945 in Rockingham, North Carolina and went Home to be with the Lord on February 15, 2025.

Beloved wife of 49 years to David A. Kelley, Sr. who she married in Rockingham, North Carolina on April 10, 1965. Loving mom of David, Jr. (Sherry), James, Kenneth and Jennifer (Jon). Proud gram to Jamie, Jr., Leah, Gabriel, Andrew, Joey, Eliana and Evelyn and great gram to Amara and Levi. She is also the loved gram to her step grandchildren Joshua, Jeremy, Tommy and Catherine and step great grandchildren Vinnie, Aiden, Liam, Alayna, Wesley, Amrielle and Wyatt. Dearest sister of Fae Bailey and Nealie Belcher and sister-in-law to Carolyn (the late Norman) Williams, Evelyn (Butch) Brewer and Kathy (Chuck) Gill. Also survived by other loving family and friends.

 Lillie Mae was preceded in death by her parents Neal McLain and Frances Powell (nee: Lynch), her first son (stillborn) as well as two granddaughters Kimberly and Katelyn. Lillie Mae was a long-time supporter and member of the Restoration Pointe Church of God; she loved quilting and sewing and enjoyed trying to keep her kids in line.

There will be no public services in Michigan; The visitation will take place on Saturday February 22, 2025, From 1:45 PM to 2:45 PM, followed by a funeral service at 3 PM at Trinity Emmanuel Holiness Church, Rockingham, NC.

Burial will follow at Mt. Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery in Rockingham, North Carolina.

Memorial contributions to honor her life may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
