Linda Davis Parker

Linda Davis Parker, 64, of Rockingham, passed away Friday, December 29, 2017 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.

Ms. Parker was born January 9, 1953 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Roscoe Davis Jr and Mary Helen Hudson Davis. She was of the Baptist Faith and was employed with Hood Packaging and Pizza Inn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth D. Goodson.

Surviving are her son, Chris Parker of the home; grandchildren, Shannon Odom and Sky Odom, both of Rockingham; great grandchildren, Hazel and Wanda Stephenson;  brother, Donald Davis (Betty) of Cordova; sisters, Kay Smith (Larry) of Rockingham and Dianne Puckett (Brian) of Ellerbe and her beloved canine companion, Dallas.

Funeral services will be at 11 am Wednesday in the Colonial Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Webster officiating. Entombment will follow in the Richmond County Memorial Park Mausoleum.

The family will see friends from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at Carter Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Donald and Betty Davis, 148 Westfield Dr. Rockingham.
