Malcolm Huggins

Malcolm Huggins, 85, of Rockingham, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Hospice Haven in Rockingham.

Mr. Huggins was born December 4, 1932 in Lumberton, NC, a son of the late Coy and Vallie Herring Huggins. He had retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service, was a member of Temple Baptist Church and had also retired from the US Postal Service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by a brother, Bill Huggins.

Surviving are his wife, Shirley Catherine Hooks Huggins of the home; daughter, Sherry Lynn Harden (Clyde) of Lexington, Virginia; a grandchild, Meagan Grace McGuire (William Michael) of Lexington, Virginia; a great grandchild Annabelle Kate McGuire of Lexington, Virginia; a brother, Jerry Huggins (Rachel) of Dillon, SC; a sister, Evelyn Hamilton (Carroll) of Dillon, SC and a sister-in-law, Pat Huggins of Orangeburg, SC 

Funeral services will be at 1 pm Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Temple Baptist Church with Rev. Joey Byrd officiating. Entombment will be at 3:30 pm Wednesday in the mausoleum of Evergreen Perpetual Care Cemetery in Dillon.

The family will see friends from 11:45 am – 12:45 pm Wednesday at Temple Baptist Church.
