Margaret Fay Williams

Margaret Fay Williams, 77, went to be with the Lord on January 8, 2021, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born in Rockingham, NC, on May 27, 1943.

She is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 61 years, Alvin Henry Williams; two sons, Gary Alvin Williams (Jada) and Michael Lee Williams (Mendy); her stepdaughter, Joan Killeen (Dan); her sister, Brenda K. Therrell (Curtis); and three grandchildren, Alan Williams, Karen Williams and Kennedy Williams.

She was preceded in death by a loving son, Danny Reid Williams; her mother, Juanita Whitaker; and her stepfather, James Whitaker.

Margaret was an extremely strong woman and her belief in the Lord brought her through many trials and tribulations. She lived for her husband, her children and especially her grandchildren, and she will be tremendously missed.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at Richmond Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to New Hope Freewill Baptist Church, 103 Blewitt Avenue, Rockingham, NC 28379.

The family wishes to say “Thank you” to all of those who loved Margaret over her 77 years of life.
