Mickey Wayne Scott

Mr. Scott was born October 1,1943 in Richmond County, a son of the late Willie James and Ila Mae Lovette Scott. He was an autobody repairman, working for himself and other companies, the last being Gardner Body Shop in Charlotte. He was an avid NASCAR fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Karen Lovin and Billy Scott.

Surviving are his wife, Andrea Bradley Scott; sons, Wayne, Tony, Jim and Otto; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren and sister Teena Thurman.

A service to celebrate his life will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Mt. Carmel Free Will Baptist Church Outdoor Shelter with Rev. Eddie Hildreth officiating. The family requests those in attendance dress casually.
