Mozelle Ballard Campbell

Mozelle Ballard Campbell, 77, of Cordova, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Hospice Haven in Rockingham.

Mrs. Campbell was born November 20, 1940 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Arthur Harrison and Maude Mozelle Lambeth Ballard. She was a member of Abundant Life Church and had worked with Little Kingdom Day Care in Rockingham. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Campbell.

Surviving are her children, Cindy Shirk, Michael Campbell and Travis Campbell, all of Rockingham; grandchildren, Corey Shirk, Chase Campbell, Makayla Campbell and Tyler Campbell; great grandchildren, Callan Campbell and Jaxon Johnson; brother, Boyce Ballard of Virginia Beach, VA and special friends, Linda and Ray Lynch.

Funeral services will be at 2pm Tuesday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham with Rev. Joe B. Wilkes, Jr officiating. Interment will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park.

The family will see friends from 12:45 to 1:45 pm Tuesday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham
