Nancy Puckett Chappell

Nancy Puckett Chappell, 70, of Rockingham, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Hospice Haven in Rockingham.

Mrs. Chappell was born November 9, 1951 in Richmond County, the daughter of the late Haywood and Nola Irene Lee Puckett. She attended Grace Fellowship Church and worked with Lowes stores for 15 years, retiring as assistant manager in Florence, SC. She enjoyed life, spending time with her family and dancing. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, John Mauldin, Jr..

Surviving are her husband, Carl L. Chappell; children, Keith Chappell (Jessie), Candy Webster (Michael) and Ella Ingram (Rick); grandchildren, Derek Chappell, Dustin Chappell, Payton Chappell, Jordyn Chappell, Raymond Mauldin, Adeline Mauldin, Isaiah Ingram, Cody Webster and Alexis Webster; great grandchildren, Noah Chappell, Cashus Chappell and Nolan Mauldin and brothers, Brian Puckett (Dianne), Eric Puckett and Timothy Puckett.

A service giving thanks for and in celebration of Nancys’ life will be at Noon Saturday at Grace Fellowship Church, 217 Midway Rd, Rockingham, NC, with Pastor Roger Webster officiating.

The family will greet friends from 10:45 – 11:45 am Saturday at the church and at other times at the home.
