Nancy Yvonne Nuttall, a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2025, at Richmond County Hospice Haven. Born on December 23, 1954, in Richmond County, North Carolina, Nancy's sweet, kind, and loving spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.
Her journey began in the warmth of Richmond County, where she was raised in a family that instilled in her the importance of love and togetherness. As a dedicated professional, Nancy started her career as a Lab Technician, showcasing her diligence and care for others. Later, she transitioned to office administration with Hornwood Inc. in Lilesville, North Carolina, where her work was characterized by dedication and a gentleness that put others at ease.
Nancy found immense joy in her family, which she considered her proudest accomplishment. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Kerri Brown Tucker, and Kerri's husband, Jamie. As a grandmother, she adored her granddaughters, Claire and Avery Tucker, showering them with love and attention. She cherished every moment spent with them, creating a tapestry of fond memories that they will carry in their hearts forever.
Nancy's close bond with her brother, Timothy H. Murphy, reflected the strength of family ties built over the years. Throughout her life, she remained a source of strength and encouragement to those around her, embodying the virtues of kindness and compassion.
She is now reunited with her beloved spouse, Dale Nuttall, and her dearly departed parents, Howard and Doris Grant Murphy. Their love has intertwined through the generations, and her memory will forever serve as a beacon of love for her family.
Nancy was also a cherished member of the Highland Acres Church Of God, where she found community and shared her light with others. Her faith filled her life with purpose and offered comfort to many.
A Celebration of Nancy’s life will be held at 1pm on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Abundant Life Church with Pastor Joe B. Wilkes, Jr. officiating. Family will receive friends following the Celebration.
As we honor Nancy's remarkable life, let us remember her not just for her kindness and support but also for the indelible mark she left on the hearts of those she loved. May her memory inspire us all to embrace the sweetness of life and the beauty of family.
