Patrick Monroe Snead

Patrick Monroe Snead, 53, of Rockingham passed away Friday, July 15, 2022 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital – Richmond.

Patrick was born August 28, 1968 in Richmond County, a son of Janice Faye Williams Snead Greene and the late John Stanley Snead. He was employed with Richmond Yarns for over 20 years and most recently with Mt. Vernon Mills. He was a hard working man, a joker and loved playing pool

Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Wendy Helms Snead; children, Jon Brandon Snead (Darian), Patrick Monroe Snead, Jr. (Anahi), and Ashley Nicole Fields (Johnathan); grandchildren, Paisley Ann Fields, Bryceson Clay Fields, Riley Paul Fields, Connor Lee Snead and Maddox Monroe Snead; mother and step-father, Faye and Elvin Greene; siblings, Jonathan Monroe Snead, Roxanne Snead Bradshaw and Amy Snead Cox and best friend Jay Patel.

Funeral services will be at 11 am Tuesday at Abundant Life Church with Rev. Joe B. Wilkes, Jr and Rev. Kenny Bradshaw officiating. Interment will follow in Northam Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends from 9:45 – 10:45 am Tuesday at the church.
