Rennie Bullard Watts

Rennie Bullard Watts, 91, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, May 5, 2020, from her home in Rockingham. She was born September 27, 1928, a daughter of the late George Franklin Eaddy, Sr. and Ila Victoria Williams Eaddy. Others preceding her in death were her husbands, Douglas J. Bullard and Floyd Watts, and two brothers, Elwin Eaddy and Ed Eaddy, Jr.

In addition to caring for her family, she worked several jobs over the years and retired from the Leggs Division of Sara Lee Corporation. She enjoyed sewing and crafting, but her greatest joy was in faithfully serving the Lord and her family. She was a dedicated member of Community Church.

Her memory will be cherished by her children, Larry Bullard (Cathy), Chris Bullard (Deane) and Vicky Bullard, all of Rockingham; a step-daughter, Lynn Vaughn of Hamlet; a sister, Sara Peele of Rockingham; plus a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private family graveside service will be conducted by Pastor Chris Thornton at Richmond County Memorial Park. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date to be announced.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Community Church, P.O. Box 2032, Rockingham, NC 28380-2032.
