Richard Alan Marsh

Richard Alan Marsh, 80, of Aberdeen, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2023 at The Greens at Pinehurst. 

Mr. Marsh was born October 9, 1943 in Richmond County, a son of the late Grant and Louise Virginia Dawkins Marsh. Richard worked for Fletcher Industries for over 50 years. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, farming, and spending time at the beach. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Marsh and a nephew.

Surviving are his daughter, Dana Michelle Ewing; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; brother, Larry Marsh and sisters Carolyn Green, Dee Dee Smith and Myra Cooke.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm Thursday at the Blue Cemetery in Hoffman. The family will greet friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Wednesday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham.
