Sandra Blake Baldwin

Sandra Maurice Blake Baldwin, 81, of Rockingham, completed her earthly journey on Friday, October 21, 2022.

Mrs. Baldwin was born January 16, 1941 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late John and Irene Byrd Blake. She attended Ellerbe High School and retired from Sara Lee Hosiery. She was a longtime member of the Rockingham Church of God of Prophecy where she had been a youth and ABM leader. She enjoyed fishing, working in her yard and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Ralph Liles, Johnny Blake, Betty Jean Blake, and Phyllis Sedberry.

Surviving are her husband, of 64 years, Howard Martin “Tony” Baldwin; children, Timothy Martin “Tim” Baldwin (Kim) and William Thomas “Billy” Baldwin (Effie); grandchildren, Brandon Baldwin, Chad Baldwin, Kristin Jones, Nicole Deaver and Hope Norris; great grandchildren, Trinity Baldwin, Austin Deaver, Kaylee Jones, Braxton Deaver, Paisley Norris and Brynlee Norris; brothers, Marvin Liles and Richard Blake and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at the Rockingham Church of God of Prophecy with Pastors Steve Gilmer and Fred Fisher officiating. Interment will follow in the Norman Cemetery.

The family will greet friends from 12:45 – 1:45 pm Tuesday at the church and at other times at the home.
