Sandrell Steele Ashworth

Sandrell Steele Ashworth, 60, of Candor passed away on April 3, 2019 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Sandrell was born on June 5, 1958 in Danville, VA a daughter of Cozette Haywood and the late James Malloy Steele.

Surviving are her mother, Cozette H. Greene and step-father Clayton Greene; her sister Evelyn Parsons; a daughter Christy Vredenburg; a son, Jerry Wayne Ashworth, Jr.(Cheri); grandchildren, Maci Jo Ashworth, Alli Kate Ashworth; nephews and niece, James Parsons, Monroe Parsons, Joni Parsons; and other family members.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church Ellerbe with Rev. Dr. James Brown officiating.

The Family will greet friends immediately following the service.
