Sarah Jane Arnette

Sarah Jane Gardner Arnette, 83 of Rockingham, went to her Heavenly Home on March 3, 2022.

Sarah was born on December 4, 1938 in Guilford County a daughter of the late Sherbert Gardner and Gertrude Crutchfield Gardner. She retired from Sara Lee Hoisery after 35 years. She was a long time member of Roberdel Baptist Church, she loved to sing, play the piano, travel with the church group and going fishing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby J. Arnette.

She is survived by her daughters, Martha Arnette Grant and Carolyn Arnette Troxler and husband Jeffrey L. Troxler; her sister Peggy Gardner Lampley; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Funeral service will be   held at 3:00 pm Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Roberdel Baptist Church with Pastor Billy Dennis officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1:45 pm – 2:45 pm prior to the service at the church.
