Sarah Grice Morrow

Sarah Grice Morrow, 88, of Rockingham, passed away Monday, February 19, 2018 at her home.

Mrs. Morrow was born August 27, 1929 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Zach and Lucy Jane Williams Grice. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and had retired from Burlington Industries after 46 years of service. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin C. Morrow, brother, William F. Grice and sisters, Evelyn Campbell, Lucy Taylor, Mary Eliza Buck, Anna Lee Hodges, Nellie Jenkins, Elizabeth Rainwater and Elmare Snead.

Surviving is her son, Franklin C.”Chuck” Morrow, Jr. of Rockingham.

Funeral services will be at 2pm Thursday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham with Rev. Russell Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will see friends from 12:45 to 1:45 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
