Terry Flavel Lawrence

 Terry Flavel Lawrence, 79, of Rockingham, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at his home.

 Mr. Lawrence was born May 31, 1944 in Henry County, Tennesee to the late Louis Flavel and Daisy Novella McDaniel Lawrence. He began his 39 year career at Owens Illinois as a floor sweeper and retired as a supervisor. He had a deep love for listening to music, singing, water skiing and being out on the water. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Ronnie Lawrence and Ted Lawrence.

Surviving are his beloved wife of 59 years, Linda Robinson Lawrence; children, Barry Lawrence, Brian Lawrence, and Kristen Edwards; grandchildren,  Bradley Lawrence (Amy) , Blake Lawrence (Lindsay), Hunter Lawrence, Robin Edwards (Josh), Kyle Edwards, Grace Edwards, and Charleigh Edwards; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Lillie, Lucie, Graycelynn, and Liam; as well as siblings Linda Tilley, Wanda Gatewood, and Donald Lawrence.
 
Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life on Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm at his home.
