William Thomas Seagraves

William Thomas Seagraves, 69, of Ellerbe, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, November 2, 2020.

Thomas was born April 2, 1951 in Richmond County, a son of the late Henry and Iona Chavis Seagraves. He had been employed with Allen Brothers Timber Company for 47 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Hursey Seagraves and a sister, Henrietta Robson. He will be missed by all who knew him. He loved to make everyone he met laugh.

Surviving are his children, Sandra Thompson, Tony Seagraves (Melissa) and Michael Reeves; grandchildren, Justin Smith, Miranda Thompson, Camron Seagraves, Katie Seagraves and Trinity Reeves and siblings, Patsy Webb, Polly Lynch, James Seagraves and Alice Hall.

Graveside services will be at 2 pm Friday, November 6, 2020 at Ellerbe Cemetery. Face coverings are requested, please remember social distancing and bring a lawn chair for the service.
