Michael Elvin Kelly

Michael Elvin Kelly, 67, of Ellerbe, passed away Thursday, October 7. 2021 at his home.

Michael was born February 12, 1954 in Moore County, a son of the late Robert H. Kelly and Melrea Luck McNeill. He had served his country in the US Air Force and had also worked with Walmart.

Surviving are his wife, Stacey Powell Kelly; children, Jesse Kelly and Sarah Serres; step children, Jamie Powell, Diane Sims, Jessica Watts, Tammy Lyford and Josh Sims; grandchildren, Castor Conley, Joie Serres,  Nicholas Serres, August Kelly and Adara Kelly; step-grandchildren, Paige Powell, Kevin Powell, Madyson Powell, Hannah Keane, Drew Kimball, Charles Hoffman, Jr., Devon Lyford, Skylar Lyford and Austin Franklin; brothers, Tracy McNeill and Alvin McNeill; step-mother, Shirley Kelly; step-sisters, Debbie Wyland and Betty Horgerwerf and 2 nieces and 2 nephews.

A memorial service will be at 4:00 pm Friday, October 15, 2021 at New Hope Baptist Church, 1187 W NC 73, Ellerbe with Rev. Tim Hawks officiating. The family will greet friends following the service.
